This is Loki
He is a neutered Male, 5 years old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, good with Small Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, microchipped.Loki is a beautiful Husky with some Malamute. We rescued him from a private party
who adopted him from a shelter in Reno. They were keeping him in a motel room, which he was destroying while they were at work. He was not eating and was under weight. We have had him since May of 2020, and were able to teach him basic commands, get him to a healthy weight, teach him to walk on a leash. He does not pull with a leash and harness that clasps in the front. He has so much potential with the right people and we desperately want him to find a person or family that is very active, not gone for long days, has other dogs, especially other huskies. He should not go with a owner of cats, which is why we need to find a better situation for him. His prey drive is strong, and we have three cats that we have had to keep separate in closed rooms. He does not bite or show aggression to people or other dogs, but he is very mouthy when he wants attention so small children might get hurt.
