This is Scooby-doo
He is a neutered Male, 5 years old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.Scooby is a 2 year young German Shepherd and Husky mix who was pulled from a shelter in Stanislaus County. Scooby has had some unfortunate encounters with people. No one taught him manners. We sent him to board & train at Yes Dog for 8 weeks so he can learn better coping skills and manners.
Now Scooby has completed his 8 weeks board & train @ Yes Dog. He is available for adoption. This kid is always up for a party. He is super enthusiastic about play and food. He'll make a great hiking companion, and he loves toys, tug, and figuring out how to get people to shell out treats. He is a rockstar on leash walking! While Scooby wants to stay near you, he has a bit of an independent streak and prefers to have his own space, too. He shows his affection in his own ways and will warm up to you once he gets to know you. He's full of joie de vivre, and we are confident he'll do well in his very own home. He needs someone who is willing to learn about dog behavior and commit to continue training him. Ideally he is best suited in an only dog house or with another dog that has good social skills. No young children as Scooby is still learning.
This is from Scooby’s trainer: Scooby is a sweet, very personable, confident, and independent dog. He is playful. He loves tug with people and tugs like a working Malinois. He loves to be chased. He loves to run for the sheer joy of running. He loves playing with toys. He loves running in snow, digging in snow, eating snow, catching snowballs, and all things snow. Lol He's a super curious guy and loves to explore everything. He doesn't like to be hugged, restrained, or otherwise manhandled by people that he doesn’t know. He is not an extrovert, but he will be your loyal BFF!
