IrisIris is an Available Alaskan Malamute This entry has expired and the information may no longer be current This is Iris She is a spayed Female, 7 years old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, good with Children, good with Small Children, good with Large Dogs, good with Small Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped, has Papers.Female, 4 yrs old, Brown/Red and White, Amber eyes "Iris" -- Iris, or "Roos" as she's affectionately known will be 5 years old come Feb 2022. She is ~90lbs and up to date on her shots & spayed. Her Instagram is @Iristhewolfer. I am looking to relocate to Manhattan which is why I'm exploring the difficult option of rehoming her. As a malamute, she requires lots of exercise and typically needs 2-3 miles of daily walks/runs. After exercise, her goal for the rest of the day is to find the most comfortable napping spot. She gets along very well with individual dogs with the exception of the occasional correction when she gets unwillingly humped. In large groups (ie. >10 dogs), she can be rather timid initially. Unknown how she acts among livestock and cats but she is gentle with children and smaller dogs. She is potty trained and recognizes basic commands ( sit, paw, stay, down etc.). She can be left alone in an outdoor space/backyard type setup with a moderately active lifestyle. For more information, please call Chris Lin at 213-422-6091 or email clin0902@gmail.com.
