North Eastern California

Male, 1 years 8 months old, Black and White, Blue eyes

Loki is Available Do you have a place for me? "Loki" -- Loki is a beautiful Husky with some Malamute. We rescued him from a private party
who adopted him from a shelter in Reno. They were keeping him in a motel room, which he was destroying while they were at work. He was not eating and was under weight. We have had him since May of 2020, and were able to teach him basic commands, get him to a healthy weight, teach him to walk on a leash. He does not pull with a leash and harness that clasps in the front. He has so much potential with the right people and we desperately want him to find a person or family that is very active, not gone for long days, has other dogs, especially other huskies. He should not go with a owner of cats, which is why we need to find a better situation for him. His prey drive is strong, and we have three cats that we have had to keep separate in closed rooms. He does not bite or show aggression to people or other dogs, but he is very mouthy when he wants attention so small children might get hurt.

Female, 8 years old, Copper and White, Blue eyes

Kaitlin is Available Do you have a place for me? "Kaitlin" -- Kaitlin is a sweet, silly, talkative dog. She has a classic sassy husky personality and loves to tell you what she thinks! She is energetic and you’d never know she is around 8 years old. She is totally crate-trained and obedient to command. Walks have to be leashed and high fences are a necessity because this girl can jump! She would be an ideal outdoor dog because she is not housebroken and loves nothing more than to lay outside during the day on her cot. She simply needs to be rehomed because I am currently overwhelmed with other less-adoptable rescues.

Male, age unknown, Red and White, Brown eyes

Bandit is Available Do you have a place for me? "Bandit" -- Hello,
Please I am in need of help saving my dog Bandit. He was dropped off in another city an hour away from where he was chipped. He is an amazing dog, I didn't want him to stay in a cage so i rescued him to help him look for a home:

Here is his story:

The whole reason for rescuing Bandit was to give him a forever home. One that made sure he wouldn't be euthanized if he wasnt to get picked up by a certain time period. For the meanwhile, Bandit had stayed at my girlfriend's house and my place, where we would constantly walk him and take care of him with other members of our households. We constantly searched for a home that will give Bandit the attention and the life he deserved. Instantly we became attached to him because of his passion and love for people, his constant will to want to simply be a Husky, and for his amazing irreplaceable smile. The same day he was hit by a car was the same day I believe I found him a forever home. He was extremely happy in the new place, the new owner was certain this was the place for him and had no rejections. Bandit was ready to stay from here on out, but ended up running away so we went out searching for him. Unfortunately, once Bandit was hit and taken to the hospital, I received a text saying the person was no longer going to claim him. Imagine how that must feel. This left me in a financial struggle of paying 7,000 for his surgery all by myself. Thankfully, I got help from individuals I personally knew and some that I didn’t. We managed to raise a bit over $1,200. This helped me a tremendous amount in helping me pay for his surgery. Bandit has now come out of his surgery but my baby boy is still in need of a home. The room I currently reside in does not have the space necessary for him. It hurts so much to not be able to take care of him because I love him but it hurts more that we still can't find a loving family that would take in Bandit. Sadly, they had to shave a section of his coat off in order to perform the surgery on his broken leg and pelvis. Luckly, with the surgery everything will be okay , Bandit will once again be the same dog he once was, he will be able to run and play again, his coat will grow back. It will just take around 8-12 weeks for him to recover. The problem is that we are still looking for a home for Bandit. Please, I beg you to put his physical appearance to the side and give my poor dog a chance. If he didn't deserve the world and wasn't a special dog would I have paid $6,000 out of pocket. I did it because I consider him a part of my family, and for family we would do anything. Please, if you know anyone that would give Bandit a forever home, full of love and attention, send this to them. If you are interested in helping him out, feel free to dm me. If you can’t I would gladly appreciate a simple repost. He has been through so much just for being alive and it's honestly not fair.

Male, 3 years old, Tan and White, Bi-Eyed eyes

Shiranui is Available Do you have a place for me? "Shiranui" -- Shiranui is a wonderful, energetic, and sweet giant who enjoys long hikes and a good cuddle. He's legitimately a perfect companion in everyway, just a bit floppy [he likes to roll over a lot] and thinks he's a small dog half the time. The reason he's being listed to find a new home is that my son is very allergic to him and causes him serious reactions. We unfortunately think it's best that he finds a loving home who'd be open to sending us updates on him from time to time while he adjusts. I want the best for him, which is what made this situation so difficult.

Male, 10 years old, Tan and White, Bi-Eyed eyes

Do you have a place for me? "Bowie" -- In search of a love connection! Bowie is a youthful 10-year-old husky/pit mix with one blue and one brown eye, big goofy grin, approx 40 lbs, and the most perfect, ZERO maintenance companion at home: lays around all day, never barks, fine being alone, never has accidents, knows basic commands, affectionate, and in perfect health. He LOVES car rides and going for walks, which makes him do the cutest little excitement dance (wish I could post the video). His shortcoming is that he can be unpredictable around other dogs, so he simply needs to maintain "social distance". Home must have no other pets or young kids.

Please help find this handsome boy a home (or foster)! I've been fostering this sweetheart since April and adore him but, unfortunately, can't keep him forever since he needs to be an only-dog. I know Bowie's perfect love-nest is out there.
