Female, 12 months old, Tan and White, Amber eyes"Unknown" -- I rescued this dog from a busy highway at night in Clearlake, Ca. It was most certainly going to get killed. It had no collar. It looks like a Siberian Husky. I have tried to surrender it to Lakeport Animal Control and Clearlake Animal Control. Both shelters are full. I am no longer able to feed this dog. It needs a real home. I work and this poor dog just sits all day in a small cage. |
Male, 2 years 1 months old, Black and White, Blue eyes"Unknown" -- He’s been found in the Shadow Lakes neighborhood in Brentwood, CA. He’s very sweet. Male, un neutered. He’s being housed with me for the time being but we can’t keep him for long. He was previously with another neighbor while his owner is found, earlier this week. I’ve contacted every rescue, shelter, FB group, Ring, Nextdoor, ect and nothing. I think he’s either abandoned or his family doesn’t want to claim him because we’ve gotten nowhere. The shelters here won’t take him because he’s not ours and the pound has a high kill rate and I don’t want him to go there. He’s too sweet to belong in the pound. No tags or chip. Was found with a metal spike collar and flea collar. He’s house trained, knows basic commands, and very friendly. He was loved at one time. He doesn’t mind other dogs but not cats, which is why we can’t keep him much longer. I worry for my 16 year old cat. I’m lost what else to do. |
Male, 5 months old, Agouti, Brown eyes"Unknown - Calling Him Mario" -- Update: baby is not chipped. Fresno Humane said no as baby is not sick, they did worm and vaccinate. They said I should just return to the spot we found it and “leave it” as it may find it’s way home. I talked to some people by the location and they said dogs get dumped their all the time and then disappear probably due to the coyotes. I am actively looking for a rescue or some kind person to adopt this very affectionate baby that is loving the security of our large crate! It’s about 5-6 months old, was very afraid to come in the house, we fixed that, did not know what toys were- we fixed that lol is doing great with our cats and dogs but Miss Venus is very afraid of him (her 100lb ass is scared! And she is acting out towards the baby). Must find a foster or rescue before there is blood shed !! |
Male, 4 years old, White, Blue eyes"Chip" -- Chip was a stray dog on the Ortega Hwy. My neighbor adopted him for a few years, but he passed away. Chip is neutered and loves cuddles. He can go jogging a bit but not in any heat as he had heat stroke before. He is happy to chill out and cuddle you anyway! His son Taylor needs a home too. They can be together or separeate. |
